This was my first attempt at lip sync animation. Audio is from Holes (2003).

This was a final project for a character animation class, requiring us to do an animation that included an interaction between two people, synced up to already existing audio. Audio clip is from Mary Poppins Returns (2018).

This is the rough version of an animation that I did for Maine College of Art's new website design. The illustration was done by a professional illustrator hired by the school (Michael Byers), who then worked with me and my animation partner and fellow animation and game art major Richie Ward to create final animations to send off to the website team. I hand animated linework over specific aspects of Byers's original illustration. That linework was then given back to Byers so each frame could be lined and colored by him so as to keep his original style and hand in the moving illustration. His colored frames were then handed off to Richie, who imported these frames into After Effects for final animation edits and any VFX that needed to be done. Our final work was then sent off to the website company the school went through, who assembled everything to be able to be interactive on the website. This was the animation test I did as an application to be a volunteer animator for the Childhood Cancer Society. This required me to stay on model while animating their mascot, Adventure Ted. This is fully lined and colored, but only animated on fours for a test.

This animation was created to learn to push walk cycles to their extremes.
